Is the assessment really free?
Yes β completely. There is no charge for our initial telephone conversation or for the home assessment visit. You are under no obligation to proceed, and there is no sales pressure of any kind.
How quickly can care start?
In urgent situations, we can arrange care to begin within 24β48 hours of your assessment. For planned arrangements, we typically start within a week. We understand that care needs can change quickly.
Do I need to be from Birmingham?
We cover Birmingham and surrounding areas including Solihull, Moseley, Edgbaston, Hall Green, Kings Heath, Harborne, Selly Oak, Northfield, Erdington, Handsworth, Sparkhill, Acocks Green and Yardley. Call us to confirm coverage for your postcode.
Can I request a specific carer?
Yes. We take great care in matching clients with compatible carers. During your assessment, we'll learn about the person's personality, interests and preferences so we can make the best possible match.
What if I'm not sure what type of care is needed?
That's completely fine. Many families contact us without knowing exactly what support is required. Our care manager will help you understand the options and identify the most appropriate level of care during the assessment call.
Is Marula Support Services CQC registered?
Yes. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Our CQC registration number is 1-16415027168.
What happens to my information?
